I am currently accepting new clients! Let’s start this journey together.
Hello, I’m Ross. I’m really glad you’re here. Your journey to healing starts here, and I’m honored to walk alongside you.
Embarking on the journey toward change and healing often starts with a challenging first step.
By considering counseling, you’ve already taken that crucial leap, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
In my practice, I strive to create a calm and accepting environment where you can feel truly seen and heard. I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship, fostering a space where you can share even the darkest parts of your experiences. Being genuinely understood is a fundamental human need, and I am dedicated to meeting that need with patience and empathy. I believe in empowering you to take charge of your healing journey while providing guidance and support along the way. My therapeutic style is marked by personal congruence—I bring my authentic self into our sessions, ensuring that our work together is both genuine and impactful.
Curiosity about people, our world, and the complex interplay of spirituality and healing fuels my practice. This curiosity helps me guide you toward wholeness by integrating a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to your unique needs.

Experience
I operate through a trauma-focused lens and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which equips me to help with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges. Additionally, I incorporate the Prepare and Enrich pre-marriage curriculum and have training in the Enneagram and the Gottman Couples Method to enhance our work together. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples, with a particular passion for supporting young men through life transitions.
With an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Midwestern State University and supervision under Jessica Callahan, LPC-S, my background includes ten years as a pastor and four years as a pastoral counselor. This experience has deepened my understanding of the psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy training for endurance running events, playing Zelda with my daughters, and savoring good food. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Michelle, for ten years, and we share our lives with two young daughters.
It would be an honor to hold space for you and walk alongside you as you move forward on your journey toward wholeness. I look forward to our work together.
I offer complimentary 15-minute consultations for all new therapy clients.
This consultation gives us both the opportunity to review your needs and determine if we’ll be a good fit for one another. If we feel it’s appropriate to move forward, we can schedule our initial therapy session.
I strive to be transparent about my process as much as possible. Please review my FAQ for info about my services, fees, and availability. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
